How was the harvest in 2017?
2017 was a very hot year that brought the harvest forward by a few weeks. The Sagrantino grapes were very healthy, with an excellent sugar content and an almost unique flavor. With the characteristics of these grapes, the natural fermentation had a regular course, without any problem.
What are the characteristics of this vintage?
The wine obtained after these three years is characterized by an intense and distinct ruby color while the taste has a prompt, delicate and ripe tannin with a great flavor. It is definitely a great wine, with a high aging capacity, over 20 years.
Will he be a good companion at the table?
